In this photo,you can see a drawing my son 

created earlier,before his bedtime.

I was surprised when he asked 

me to write the sentence"Helen,for you!Filipp" 

in English so he could copy it himself!

The drawing wasn't for me but for my best friend Helen 

Beesleyfrom the U.K. who visited us a few days ago.

While she was with us,my 5,5 years old son got very 

used to listening to English language and 

he was even trying to 

communicate in English with her.

Tonight,he found drawing as a way to communicate 

with her ... with a small message in English!

Hey,Helen hope you like his drawing.

The benefits of learning a foreign language from 

a young age are fundamental for their future.

Make the learning process a part of their life.

It’s summertime and I hope each one of you 

are having a great time as I am !!!

We had our dear friend come over from 

the U.K. for a whole week . 

It was an amazing , busy week ! 

We did so many things together !!

I cherish every moment I spent with her !

My whole family loves her ! She’s an amazing woman .

My son adores her ! 

They had some quality time together , 

a few funny moments when they were alone , 

trying to communicate despite the face that 

they don’t speak the same language .

And then ….. the lessons started !! 

English and Greek lessons !! 

What a great laugh !!

My son was teaching her Greek

while she was teaching him English .

She managed to learn quite a few Greek words 

and expressions and little Filippos learnt how to count 

from 1 – 10 in English , a few words and expressions too

 by copying and imitating her , as well as playing some 

of the games listed below on her computer !!

HYDRA , one of the most beautiful Greek islands !!

HYDRA , one of the most beautiful Greek islands !!

Today , I had the chance to visit HYDRA with my dear friend Helen from U.K.

 

She absolutely loved the island . 

The amazing port , the narrow streets with the steps , the small taverns 

and souvenir stores , all those made her travel back in time , 

when simple things in life counted more ,

 like a walk with a friend , chatting in a cafeteria ,

being completely relaxed.

There are NO CARS on this island , no other way of transportation ,

except for the donkeys , face that emphasized this sweet back in time feeling . 

We had a long walk by the sea , by the port . 

Her eyes in the water , she was constantly mentioning how 

surprised she was to see such a clear sea .

She was enjoying the sun and the hot weather so much , 

together with the warmth in the heart of Greeks .

I thank you Helen for this day , we had ourselves a great memory .

which gave me the inspiration of this post .

It says " Even the smallest practice is better than any theory " !

Some people have so many theories about a lot of things in life 

and they hesitate to act.

They stuck with theory and they don't dare to act , 

dare to get involved.

The same case with learning foreign languages !!!

A lot of adults have theories about how beneficial is 

to learn a second language at that age 

but they never take the decision to act.

Get involved into learning a foreign language now.

I am not saying that it's easy .....

The whole journey of learning though is quite fascinating !!

Le conditionnel présent se forme à partir de la première personne du singulier du futur simple. 

Η Ευκτική Ενεστώτα σχηματίζεται από το πρώτο πρόσωπο του Ενικού του Μέλλοντα απλού .

En d'autres termes, le radical du conditionnel présent est le même que celui du futur. 

Με άλλα λόγια , το θέμα της Ευκτικής Ενεστώτα είναι το ίδιο ακριβώς με εκείνο του Μέλλοντα .

Les terminaisons sont celles de l'imparfait: ­

Οι καταλήξεις είναι εκείνες του Παρατατικού :

On emploie généralement le conditionnel présent pour exprimer: 

Χρησιμοποιούμε κυρίως την Ευκτική Ενεστώτα 

για να εκφράσουμε :

1 .  une hypothèse, une possibilité, une probabilité 

μια υπόθεση , μια πιθανότητα 

Ça m'étonnerait! J'ai entendu dire que le week­end serait ensoleillé.

J'en profiterais aussi pour écrire quelques courriers en retard.

2 . un souhait, une demande polie 

μια ευχή , μια ευγενική εντολή / απαίτηση

Je souhaiterais acheter quelques plantes pour fleurir le jardin. J'aimerais aussi mepromener dans les bois, le long de la Semois.

3 . un conseil.

μια συμβουλή 

À ta place, je ne tarderais pas.

Souvent, le conditionnel est précédé d'une proposition qui exprime.
